This is my new Visual Art Journal where I can post and share my Creative Journey. I love Drawing and keep a daily Sketchbook; I have started Watercolors as well. I have found Sketchbook Challenges which keep me motivated. This is good place to Share, Learn and Participate in the Creativity. I love Photography which I share here sometimes as well.
My Shadow Box.... in the gathering things stage. A work in progress. Something like the Art Journal only in a things in a Box/Showcase. Our Cat is really excited about it too. : )
I am down to the last 4 pages of My First Graphite Sketchbook. I am eager and anticipating the start of the new sketchbook. It´s not so much the hesitation to begin or fear of the blank page; which I have sometimes starting a new Sketchbook or Page. There is a bit of sadness to finish this book... it´s become like an old friend. I spent time, energy and playing around creating with the sketchbook and have a sense of accomplishment now. Maybe I will finish it or just leave the 4 blank. ; ) I will see. I keep about 3 Sketchbooks now. Graphite, Mixed Media - Art Journal (for Watercolors mostly) and a Small Travel Sketchbook. I will be going to visit a small town here in Germany soon. So I am excited to construct a creative Travel Sketchbook for this tour. Anyway, I will be on to the new Sketchbook hopefully with new improvements I have made in My Daily Sketching. I do sketch daily; at the least 3 times a week now.

Wanted to try something different. I used 8 B pencil for the darkness.
Eddie from the old "Munsters" TV Show. (I know the Wolfie Doll is Creepy) LOL.
Vampira. My attempts using at Charcoal. Not my favorite medium.. but I use it sometimes.
Today I will be Inspired by the Mysteries in Life. Things unknown; to be discovered. Everyday is a Mystery and what the future holds for us. Meeting new people, new discoveries, or pondering the "Why´s?" each day. The unknown. The Mystery of Abstract Art or the Meaning behind one´s Art. Mystery inspires me and intrigues me to move forward and make discoveries each day. Suspense is a big motivator for quests and makes life fun.

The Mysteries of Nature- anytruththatisunknowableexceptbydivinerevelation. Which relates to this Joel Osteen post.
There are times you will be given intuition, you just know something, and you can’t explain it. Don’t override it. Don’t talk yourself out of it. That’s the Creator giving you inside information". - Joel Osteen
Mystery creates wonder and wonder is the basis of man's desire to understand.
Today I painted another Watercolor painting in My Journal. Still getting used to the new media... still practicing. I do enjoy it. It´s nice to add color to my Art Journals; even if it´s just light color. My main medium has been Graphite Pencils.
This is My "Polka Dot" Art Journal Entry. This if for The Sketchbook Challenge theme of the Month. I just discovered the Challenge this week. I wanted to participate so I decided to do the Challenge. The end of the month is near which motivated me to move faster on this project. Although, I usually draw with a Graphite Pencil medium. I really enjoyed this a great deal using watercolors and mixed media. I plan to continue with the Art Journal more in watercolors and mixed media; as well as a Travel Art Journal. I look forward to next months challenge theme.
