WOYWW - What´s Your Workdesk Wednesday

 July 23, 2014

This week I have been continuing with the "icad - Index Card a Day" Challenge. I started something new this week painting stones/rocks. And have been doing my usual sketching, photography and poetry writing.
I stay creatively busy. : )

Some of the "icad- Index Card a Day"
Challenge cards from this week.
With some of the things I use on my desk.

Stone Painting
I have just started to paint stones/river rocks. Something new I have wanted to try since I seen some online.
It is fun and cheap. Free Canvas. I really like them. I keep them on my desk now. I find keeping little cute things on my desk inspiring and fun.
Two Stones I painted into Owls.
This is really a work in progress
I need some brown and gray waterproof pens to finish.

A stone painted into a Cat. My first attempt.
Experimenting mostly on this one.

 Sketches

Some of my sketches from my sketchbook this week. I basically just start with the face shape and eyes and draw. I let the character come to life. I don't begin with much of an idea how they will be... sometimes I do. But mostly just draw and see how they come out in the end.

Thank You for visiting. Have a Great Week. : )

  5. The stones, I love them, we used to do that at school so very long ago. Never came out like yours though!
