The desk looks pretty much the same as last week. This week went by fast. The "icad - Index Card a Day" Prompts this week are good ones. I have really enjoyed creating them. I went to a Ceramics Studio this week and hand painted a necklace pendant and a breakfast board... ceramic not wood. That wasn´t really on my desk. But a creative thing this week.

I was at the Ceramic Paining Studio this Weekend
I painted a Breakfast Board and Necklace Pendent.
It was fun.  I get them this week. They first
must be fired in the Kiln.

I have been writing some Poetry lately. Mostly Haiku and putting them 

with some of my photography. I have found some poetry Blogs where 

people share their work with others with the use of Mr Linky, ect. 

Haiku is 3 lines of poetry 5,7,5 syllables in each line. 

With a season or nature and paradox or surprise last line.

autumn harvest blooms
now how i long for those days
woodlands call me back

I am still sketching and keeping up with the "icad- Index card a day" challenge. Icad has really Inspired helped me to grow and with trying new mediums in my creativity. The link for icad is on the side of this Blog.

Sketches

Two random sketches. I started with the eyes and built off of that; with no idea what they would look like.  After the face was finished I decided how the hairstyle would be. And an Angel sketch inspired by a cloud formation.

Inspire Me Monday

I have been writing some Haiku Poetry (5-7-5 syllables) and putting some of them with my photography and artwork. Which is a new inspiration to go along with my usual photography, drawing and painting. I have Summer break from my German learning class for the next 6 weeks. I will continue to learn over the Summer and have more time for travel and being creative.

This week I am inspired to finish painting a sketch a sketch I drew. I am almost finished.

Outdoor Craft Mall

I am already inspired by the "Outdoor Craft Mall" I visited yesterday in Mönchengladbach Germany. I love religious icons. 

 A girl I had bought jewelry from before 

brought this one from Bulgaria for me. 

I wanted this for awhile. : )

I have been keeping up with it each day. Followed the Prompts and I am happy to say it has improved my art, inspired me to try new techniques and use new tools and mediums.
It's not expensive paper so it's a good test drive for trying something new.

I am going to cover this can/pen holder
with collage very soon.  I did Knit a cover
for my other pen holder. Recycling at it´s best.

Inspire Me Monday 

I have been drawing "Characters". They have their own looks and expressions as real people do. It is fun to create them. I have thought as many people who draw have thought about making a childrens book or comic type art. This week (as always) I am inspired to develop new Characters. I am sharing a few I have made in this last few months.

Inspire Me Monday - June 23, 201

Inspire Me Monday

This week I have been inspired by Flowers. I have been out enjoying nice days and captured some nice Photographs of Flowers. And I have started using the Fountain Pen and Ink and created some Flower Artwork with Watercolors. I enjoy this medium and will practice and use it more. 

I have start my German Language Class is inspires me to learn more words.
