Inspire Me Monday

I have been writing some Haiku Poetry (5-7-5 syllables) and putting some of them with my photography and artwork. Which is a new inspiration to go along with my usual photography, drawing and painting. I have Summer break from my German learning class for the next 6 weeks. I will continue to learn over the Summer and have more time for travel and being creative.

This week I am inspired to finish painting a sketch a sketch I drew. I am almost finished.

I decided to draw this again and use watercolor
 on stronger paper. I am almost finished.

Outdoor Craft Mall

I am already inspired by the "Outdoor Craft Mall" I visited yesterday in Mönchengladbach Germany. I love religious icons. 

 A girl I had bought jewelry from before 

brought this one from Bulgaria for me.

I have been keeping up with it each day. Followed the Prompts and I am happy to say it has improved my art, inspired me to try new techniques and use new tools and mediums.
It's not expensive paper so it's a good test drive for trying something new.

It seems I like tree in window reflections. I get some good water reflections sometimes. I got some good Macro/Close-up photos this week. Always looking for some good reflectives... and everything else. My husband and I go out for photography walks or photo tour with our cameras looking for good photos.  

I love photography. : ) I hope you enjoy these as much as I do taking them.

German Language Class tomorrow.

German Language Class Tomorrow.

I start my German Language Class tomorrow. It is mandatory as part of what is like my Green Card here (in Germany). But I am looking forward to it. I wanted to take a German Class. I start A2 because I do know some German. I am a little nervous and excited at the same time. It will be M-F for 3 hours each day in the afternoon. (Good thing I am not a Morning Person. LOL) I want and need to learn it. I will get my book and find out how much homework I will have. Just wanted to share.  — feeling excited and nervous.

This week I am working on "icad" Index Card a Day mostly. I got new plain Bristol Paper index cards; great for sketching, ink and watercolors. I love them. I got a new Corkboard above my Work Desk for inspiration and notes. I am going to get a larger Corkboard this is good for now. I will use this one in the kitchen when I get the new one. Tomorrow I begin my German Language Class. So this seems a good time to start to start my new Journal/Notebook.  So that is what is new and going on at the work desk. : )

Road Trip

Road Trip

Was gone for the weekend on a Road Trip to Marburg Germany. Visited Wetzlar and Amöneburg also. Had a Great time, took a lot of photos, walked all over and had good food. Started working on my Travel Art Journal from this weekend... will be working more on it. These are some photos from the weekend.
